"Ranithena is a collection of poems I wrote while participating in the artists "Collision" creative mash up at the Southbank Centre in London England in January 2010. Each night while in London I set to the task of writing one piece before launching into my presleep reading ritual. I found this added nighttime poetry activity to be quite joyous and liberating. It was a great way to sum up the days, to celebrate the folks I was working with and to ruminate on their creations. I promised myself to not shelf or censor the words as they arrived. This turned out to be fun and made for a happy process. Words got written each night, and then I'd be off reading "Kavalier and Clay." What a book!
