This was a fun one because I don’t think I’ve ever pondered this question. I suppose all of these cats did something good for their new band, but the improvement might be in how well-regarded their records are, in the results at the cash register or both. Additionally they might be here because they helped the band stabilize or extend its shelf life.”

Caution, Popoff’s got some weird, contrarian opinions, so don’t look for his lists to match the standard consensus. Hopefully, instead, what emerges is a new way to look at who helped most.
