Recipe: Take a bowlful of New Orleans second line, add a cup of Tom Waits, drop in a dose of Sly Stone, a bone of Leonard Cohen, some Blossum Dearie theory, a pinch of Loretta Lynn, a dollop of Asleep at the Wheel, a wallop of NRBQ, a sprinkle of vintage Rush, a truckload of the SunRa Arkestra, some Monk and some Randy Newman, a hint of Ginsberg, a strand of Stravinsky, a little Prince, a bunch of Byrds, some Oom Pah Pah power, a touch of Sonic Youth, and a measure or two of Howlin' Wolf, a big piece of the unknown and allow the Woodshed Orchestra featuring Tania Gill-piano/vocals, Pam Bettger-viola/vocals, Monica Fedrigo-cello/vocals, and Julia Hambleton-clarinet/vocals (Runcible Spoon), Lina Allemano-trumpet/vocals (Tim Posgate horn band), Joe Lapinski-guitar/vocals (Palooka), Mike Overton-bass/vocals guitar (St. Dirt Elementary school band) and Dave Clark-lead vocals/guitar/keys (WoodChopper's Association, Gord Downie band, Dinner is Ruined & ex-Rheostatics) to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
